The Boston Tea Party participants list is based on research
conducted by George A. Quintal, Jr., a noted Boston Tea Party historian and
genealogical specialist who also serves as a historical consultant to HTA for
the Boston Tea Party Museum Project. Mr. Quintal has been researching the 1773
event and the life histories of Tea Party participants since 1975. The
foundation of his comprehensive research was compiled from previous lists by
Thatcher (1835), Slater (1870), Drake (1885), and the Daughters of the American
Revolution (1898).
